Meet the Artist- Hazel Bobosky

How did you hear about Paint Park?

From a  watercolor class with Jocelyn Beatty.


What was your experience like at Paint the Park?

It was a wonderful experience. Everyone was very kind and fun stations were set up.


How long have you been an artist?  Or was this a first time experience? 

I have been artistic for my entire life, but I've been painting consistently for the past 9 years.


How often do you create art?

I create art on a daily basis. 


What is your favorite type of art? 

My favorite type of art is realism/impression.


What is a big challenge with art or facing artists?

The biggest challenge is staying motivated. 


Who are your favorite artists?

A few of my favorite artists are Sargent, Monet, Rockwell, and Jocelyn Beatty.


How would you inspire others with art?

Paint and find what you like. Find your medium and go with it. 


Do you have any words of inspiration for younger artists?

Believe in yourself, don't stop, keep practicing and stick with it.
